“Absolutely breathtaking Aparthotel with kitchen, spacious bedroom and bathroom (with Bath)… loved it! Easy access with code to room and main door. Few croissants and drinks in fridge for you + porridge sachets (so kind - thank you). Had reached out prior to staying to ask if I could leave my luggage and had no response so losing one star because of that but their communication with access etc was top. Thank you and apologies for the duvet stains - my leg got stung my nettles/ branches and……

“This property was in the middle of town and very cute. It had everything we needed. Only caution: this is not small kid friendly (very steep stairs and rocks) and not ADA or for older people. But perfect for fit and mobile folks. The price was great value!”

“This stay at Blackthorn went above and beyond what I needed - some time and space for myself to write. In the comfort and peace of this hut in this location, I was able to write nearly 10,000 words, unheard of in my everyday busy life at home! The hut was perfect, the bed extremely comfortable with high-quality linens and duvet/pillows. Kitchen very well-supplied with everything I needed (and more). “We arrived a little early and greeted by Pauline who is extremely welcoming and friendly. Our suite (Tailors) was ready and we were able to check in. Everything was immaculate, including the lovely garden which has plenty of seating. Thoughtful provision of milk, orange juice, water, biscuits plus teas and coffee was very welcome after a long journey. Location to the characterful town of Woodstock is perfect, just a few minutes stroll and you are amongst the shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants.……
