The location is ideal—quiet and relaxing, yet conveniently close to everything Stamford has to offer. The house itself was spotless and very well appointed, with all the amenities we could have asked for. From the comfortable beds to the fully stocked kitchen, it’s clear the owners put thought into making sure guests feel right at home. Communication with the owner was excellent……

“Was a big scare when we reached the apartment and found out this was no one there for check in & no instruction sent before our arrival. In this remote location, the mobile connection is bad and I luckily able connected to WiFi in an indian Resturant. Found an old email thread, replied to it and luckily i received a Uk phone number to call for self check in instruction. Felt quite worried at the beginning with my wife and boys and about where we sleep . Not a good experience ”

The Community shop next door and the pub around the corner are great assets. It's a great area for walking, cycling and visiting. we would highly recommend the property.”

“Thank you for a wonderful stay at Rivernene Cottages. Hosts Stephen and Phil were amazing and could not do enough for all the guests. We stayed in the Yew Tree Cottage, as a family of 4 (2 teenagers) this was perfect! The entire place is immaculately kept. The sweeping garden was a great place to chill out by the bank of the river as well as the delightful heated pool which was used many times during our stay! “From start to finish the stay at the property was perfect easy check in, Lovely touches left by the owner, The property was well maintained, Nearby stores and restaurants yet in a quite and upscale neighborhood. I had 3 boys ages 9-8, They had all the entertainment in the house & garden they could want. The house is clean and comfortably and big enough for everyone to have personal space.
