"Check in and check out was easy. The pool area was big along with the pool. The hot tub was not working, but they did have a sauna. Breakfast was ok. Typical hotel breakfast. Beds were comfy and rooms were clean. All of the staff we encountered were very pleasant!"

"Great room is outstanding. Fun lake themed decorations. Wonderful TV with lots of selections. Enjoyed the outdoor fireplace one evening with family members that stayed in the camp grounds. Would have liked more directions about all the food. I brought my own except for the coffee in the cupboard. ..."

"We stayed here because I was working in Cedar Falls and in Ames and this was a good halfway point. It is so peaceful by the river and the host was very accommodating. My husband lives with a physical disability and doesn't handle stairs well; this place has no stairs and was very accessible and worked ..."
