“We chose this property because it was on the water and close to relatives. It was clean and as pictured with a surprise extra room! The location is quite a way off the beaten path so one needs to go prepared with necessary food items. The store on the property is great for ice cream and a few snacks. We enjoyed spending time with family and boating to Washington one day for lunch. The staff is WONDERFUL!!”

“It was perfect for what we needed. It’s a nice property and had plenty of room for two couples and two young children. We were there for a celebration in Bridgeton so location was perfect for us, but also very convenient to get into New Bern. ”

“Comfortably furnished home as described. Enjoyed the coffee bar. We were here on some very hot days and had outdoor activities planned. Thank goodness for washer & Dryer. Had A/C issues but had consistently prompt response from property manger, service tech and owner. Kitchen had basics. Great coffee bar! Lovely sunroom & deck overlooking beautiful back yard trees.”

“The owner's directions for check-in were accurate and everything went smoothly. The home was charming, clean, and matched its photos. The kitchen was well-equipped and the house contained everything that we needed for a smooth trip. The location was perfect for easy access to downtown New Bern in less than 5 minutes. Grocery store across street was convenient for making dinner. Walked our dog around the neighborhood and fenced in yard allowed our pet to have some room to stretch his legs.”

“My extended family of 11 shared both houses in order to visit other family in the area. We enjoyed being within walking distance of everything downtown New Bern had to offer. The homes were comfortable and included everything we needed. We utilized the outdoor grills to cookout which made feeding a large family a breeze. We also found several restaurants in town that were able to accommodate us. We had 6 vehicles but there was plenty of available parking on George and Queen Streets to……

“My partner and I loved staying in this home. It’s got all the essentials and then some. The neighborhood is small and quiet, off the beaten path. I hope to come back to this rental the next time I visit my folks. Bonus: the owners have a great array of cassette tapes to listen to as well as a mini Jenga set for a fun night in. ”
