“The house was is very quaint and decorated with the local spirit of the outdoors (very nice details!). It was comfortable and well stocked with all the essentials. The people from Stockman's were very friendly and helpful. We did have a family emergency during our stay and had to leave early. We will have to go back and try to view the wild life at North Michigan Reservoir near the Moose Center, off Hyw 41.”

“My friend and I came for a girls trip Labor Day weekend 2025 and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the "Cozy Cottage". It's exactly as listed and we were so glad we chose to stay there vs other places we'd seen. It was very cozy, fully furnished, and we felt very safe. We loved the town of Walden also. The hosts recommended Rita's for breakfast and it was amazing! I completely understand why they have return guests as we'd stay here again in a heartbeat. We were able to see multiple moose,……

“Absolutely gorgeous inside the house!! So many cool decorative touchesAll the teenagers (my kids, nephew and my son’s GF) especially enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and “pop-a-shot”.Love the convenience to town and the lovely, LOVELY quiet at night. Would not even momentarily hesitate to stay here again. GREAT start to our vacation week.Owner was easily reachable and helped us quickly solve our one minor issue (which was of our own creation being “rental rookies”) 5 stars isn’t enough!!!”
