“The only two downsides were a lack of WiFi and cell service (only available in the main house) and no GPS. They do send you very detailed directions, but if you are wholly unfamiliar with the area, it can be a little unsettling to be on winding roads outside of civilization with no cell service. I admittedly panicked (we drove for 12 straight hours overnight), and our friend was on the verge of declaring us missing because he couldn't get in touch with us. “This was by far the best airbnb we've stayed at. Very accommodating and clean. Jim was very quick to answer any questions we had.We were a group of 6. 4 adults, 2 kids & 2 dogs. There was plenty of space for all of us. Dont forget to check out the little waterfall on the property. Its not a far hike at all. The trail can be easily missed if you dont know its there.If you walk down from the firepit toward the hot tub & turn left theres a partially mowed path. Keep following the path to the……

“What a great property and amazing host. Our check in details were provided well before our check in time which makes everything work smoothly. The kitchen had everything you need to prepare meals and also a grill outside with a side burner. We ate in the whole trip. There was a great fire pit outside and patio furniture to enjoy the outdoors. There was also a Huge tv for our movie night. The deer were everywhere and so enjoyable to watch. “We vacationed with our children and their families. The house was very clean and met all of our needs. You need to bring most of your food, as the only grocery is a small IGA market and a Dollar General. The local gift shop was awesome offering a coffee bar and baked goods along with souvenirs. The area is pretty secluded but very close to Snowshoe Mountain resort where we got day passes for swimming. Also, the historical town of Cass featured train rides and little shops. “Loved where it was located … could walk to restaurants coffee shops etc , also was very convenient that we only had to pack our clothes and buy some groceries everything else was provided !!! Great stay will definitely rent again for our next visit !!!! ”

“The house was perfect for us. We liked having a grill outside. The hot tub was used in the evenings (when it wasn’t raining!) and the dining room table was great for games and our big puzzle. Lots of towels, even for the hot tub. The location is good, just a quiet neighborhood with some cute dogs in their fences to peep. Close to everything we wanted to do. ”
