The ensuite bathroom had been renovated but the glass shelf in the shower recess was fixed to the shower recess wall at chest height effectively reducing the usable space in the already small shower recess by about a quarter.”

It's on the edge of town, but there's a nice takeaway Italian place within easy walking distance and other options just a little further down the road in the town centre. We bought a bottle of wine from the bottlo, had a luxurious outdoor bath in our courtyard, then grabbed a takeaway Pizza to enjoy while watching a Netflix movie on the smart TV (using your own Netflix account).
