“Came for a long weekend to do the bourbon trail with friends and stayed at The Blue Belle. House works great for 2 couples, had plenty of room plus having a 3rd bathroom was very nice. Overall very clean and well stocked except for forks but we weren’t home much so it didn’t matter. We were able to walk to nearby restaurants easily. Parking is on the street and the neighborhood is a little odd with a mix of industrial and other cute old houses. Felt safe, but was odd arriving at night and seeing……

“Although we had a little hiccup with our check-in, our local owner/hosts Phil and Chris were great hosts for our group of four couples (8 people). Once we connected they made sure everything was ready for our arrival.The house has a lot of rustic charm with many cool and unique furnishings. The full kitchen had everything we needed for preparing our meals in the morning before heading out on the Bourbon Trail and relaxing in the evenings. “Right next to the heart of Bardstown with shops, bars, and restaurants. Close to many distilleries. Easy commute to Churchill Downs, especially with parking and taking shuttle from Kentucky Expo.”

“98% was fantastic- so definitely an excellent rating! The last 2% is the need for new or cleaner shower liners. This is an often missed thing.... The bottom of the inner shower liner was very dirty/moldy (guest bath worse than master bath). Again- very minor and barely bothersome. ”

“Was a great house for our family get together of 11 adults. Plenty of common space on the first level and the kitchen table was easily able to seat 8 people for meals and games. The arcade gaming system in the basement was a lot of fun with 100's of vintage games. The hot tub worked well and was enjoyable even in the rain as it is protected by the deck overhead. Good sleeping arrangements. As mentioned in other reviews - there is no bathroom on the walk-out basement level which may not be the……

“Very nice place to go. Very quiet with a view of a body of water. It's a hideaway but close enough to civilization. Only thing i would change is the location to the number on the cabins. Difficult to see those at night. The property manager was a great help. Gas up and check it out. ”
