Iberostar waves in Cozumel is a fantastic place to stay. The beach, the pool, the bars, the food, the staff, the dive shop on site, and the wildlife on site are all amazing. This location is very well kept, and you can see the staff constantly landscaping and making the experience worth while. They even has a man with a hawk that will detour the birds during breakfast which I think is an above and beyond thing to do for all guests to enjoy their food without worrying about any animals stealing your food. Highly recommend this place and I will be back in the future.

We loved how tropical it was! The Flamingos, Peacocks, Iguanas, Coatis - along with the very well maintained property made for an amazing Island Paradise getaway. The food at the main buffet was just okay, some meals better than others and the juice seemed to be overly watered down. We're definitely not picky eaters but felt the food here wasn't as good as other all inclusives we've stayed at. That being said, the breakfast buffet was always wonderful, snack area by the pool was also good, the specialty Mexican restaurant was so good (must have the tequila cake!) The staff here was absolutely wonderful! Always courteous and with a smile. We had no problems with our room and loved the hammock on the porch.

We had a great/pleasant/humble experience at this resort, everyone was nice and helpful. If you are looking for a parting or luxury stay this is not the place for you- this resort is calm, quiet, & relaxing, a mixture of beach/jungle/wildlife and bungalow rooms. Overall, this was a much needed relaxing stay!

IBEROSTAR es calidad Iberostar, es la tercera vez que nos hospedamos en esta cadena y caray ... un placer en todos los sentidos, desde la llegada, la atencion, el servicio, la calidez y calidad, las instalaciones, la limpieza, la respuesta (en esta ocasion nos sorprendio que se rompio un tablon del piso de nuestra terraza de entrada y WOW en menos de 1 hora ya teniamos piso nuevo, reparado instalado y como si no hubiera pasado nada, eso es CALIDAD DE SERVICIO) .... el hotel es una selva, las habitaciones son agradables chozas que van de la mano con el ambiente de naturaleza, mucha fauna alrededor, en las noches la iluminacion deliciosa por donde le quieras mirar todo es casi perfecto ... los alimentos muy variados en el buffet,cada dia distinto y muy ricos la mayoria, hay para todos los gustos y se agradece Mi unico pero y definitivamente sale del control del hotel es la playa de Cozumel en general ....son preciosas, agua cristalina turquesa, la fauna marina espectacular, peces de todos los colores y tamaños ideal para quien guste del buceo o snorkel o actividades de playa ..... pero para nadar o meterse a la orilla en mi caso y como opinion personal no sirven .. no hay un solo resquicio de orilla de playa que no tenga arrecifes naturales o corales ...se agradece porque se ha respetado el lecho marino en su totalidad al no ser alterado lo mas minimo, pero para quien gusta de estar sentado a las orillas del mar y gusta de recostarse . imposible¡ .mi comentario personal

The food was great, the options were great, never waited for a table. The staff were friendly, helpful. The room was perfect and housekeeping was phenomenal. The beach was beautiful, clean, and quiet. Yoga was well done. The pool was sparkling and hand-cleaned. There was entertainment during the day and night. The towels were plush. The beds were comfortable. My husband dove with the dive shop and enjoyed it. Will stay there again!

We had such a lovely time at the resort, it’s the perfect size and didn’t feel overwhelming, it only took minutes to get to the buffet or to the beach, the bungalows were quiet and clean. The wildlife was so much fun to be around and the trees and gardens were gorgeous - felt like we were right in the jungle. Staff were extremely friendly and respectful. The beach was well maintained and the dock offered a great place to hop in the ocean and watch the fish that hide there. We took advantage of the catamarans which was so much fun, and we also joined a snorkelling tour from the Dressel Diving shop right at the resort which was fantastic. I especially appreciated the environmentally friendly efforts made by the resort. For our first visit to Cozumel it was an excellent place to stay.

It is a beautiful property with cats, parrots, flamingos, peacocks, caoti. I even saw a pig one night. Food options were excellent. It was affordable. I was unable to walk into the ocean due to rocky shore but they have a deck with stairs into they ocean we used. We don't dive but that seemed to be what a lot of people stay here for.

The staff was Phenominal! It was the perfect laid back feel. The beach was amazing and the dock was convienent for excursions and even snorkeling onsite. Albertos just down the beach was fun to explore to. Our guys did a fishing trip and caught Mahi and Albertos cooked it up for us BEST FISH TACOS. We will definately be going back, hopefully ASAP ;)

This is a great place to stay and always have a great time. The one issue that really bothered me this trip was that they new charge a fee to use the kayaks and water activities. The hotel says it’s included but it’s not really included!

Literally amazing! Went here on our honeymoon and we loved every second of it! The place is very clean and everyone on the staff is so nice and happy! The beach was beautiful and the pool has a nice swim up bar! Our room was cleaned every day very well! Very much recommend for anyone looking for a romantic getaway or a vacation with their family!

We absolutely loved the jungle atmosphere with great modern amenities. The food was always plentiful with many choices. The room was spotless and cleaned daily. Very spacious, comfy king bed with a generous bathroom. Loved the hammock on our deck. Already planning next years vacation.

The property is nice and the rooms are wonderful - we were upgraded to a connected room. Food was also pretty good, though a little more variety would be nice - there is a lot of Mexican between lunch, Mexican restaurant and Mexican themed main dinners. Shows were pretty good - magic show was the best. However the beach is not great - very rocky access, not great snorkeling from the shore and very loud music playing most of the time at the pool and near the beach - just not a very relaxing vibe - beach and music are my biggest reasons for rating this resort 3 stars.
