“Lovely bit of highland grandeur/history. Mostly just passing through for a local event so didn’t get the full experience. Wee bit expensive for room alone but no complaints about the standards/staff etc bar/dining facilities looked very pleasant ”
“While a car and GPS/directions are needed to get to Blervie House, once there you are central to a variety of activities. For us that meant distillery tours. We arrived and were greeted and made to feel welcome by Graham. As it turns out we timed our visit between other guests and had the house to ourselves. We found the grounds lovely for walking about. The rooms were elegantly appointed and large. The bathroom was very modern and provided every spa product you could want. Breakfast is made to……
“I was traveling alone through the Cairngorms and chose to stay at The Speyside. What a great choice. I had a lovely suite with a generous living area and a comfortable bed.
I arrived late after a long day of driving and was met with a smile and an offer of a late dinner - and what a great meal it was. A quick drink before and then a deliciously prepared meal with very friendly service.
The morning was much the same - great breakfast and then off on my way. I'd stay here again any time and……
“We had a wonderful glamping stay - very comfortable. Everything you need is there including the option for an excellent breakfast. Ken and Jill were very good hosts and nothing too much trouble.”
“Unpretentious simple accommodations complimented with premium bedding and bath soaps.
Hotel is warm and accommodating. Breakfast was magnificent.
Staff were genuinely wonderful and friendly
We would highly recommend this hotel.”
“Check in was easy you get a code sent for the front and room door, very well equipped with a small kitchen area with a fridge which when travelling with a dog was really useful for the food. Bed lovely and comfy with a small balcony area to sit out and as the weather was so good was perfect. Ample parking with a very short walk into Aviemore, plenty local shops, cafes and pubs/restaurants to choose from

“Great find.
5 mins up dual carriageway from Aviemore.
Beautiful wee village.
Bar full of locals. Always a good sign.
Stayed with my dog. Very dog friendly.
Good breakfast. Cooked to order, no buffet
Will definitely be back with the misses.”
