“Better than advertised. Would recommend for for a group of 8 or less. Kitchen is. It equipped for cooking meals but Clifton Forge is only 25 mins away. Camp Director Chasity was very helpful before and during our stay. ”

“This house is everything it says it is. Out of the way but a great place to get together with friends and family to make new memories. It rained one of the days we’re there but that was fine because there was so much room and things provided in the house that we didn’t even notice! Management was excellent”

“We throughly enjoyed our stay at Gaie Lea. We hosted a family reunion and especially enjoyed the pool and lake. Our kids (14 adult cousins and spouses/partners) actually stayed in the home and enjoyed having the opportunity to spend time together since they live in different parts of the country. The parents and grandparents stayed in their local homes but spent much of the time on site partaking in the activities. Some had never fished before and were thrilled to catch fish. It was a fabulous……

“My husband camped in the George Washington National Forest for many years until giving that up for health reasons. I found this sweet guest house, which was perfect for us and our dog Cookie. The decor is enchanting and the place was spotless. Michelle was friendly and welcoming, and she thought of special touches to make the visit a great experience. Although the kitchen facilities were limited, we used the mini-fridge and microwave to prepare a nice dinner that we ate at the cute kitchen……

“Came to Staunton to take a train ride. The House was very nice. Had everything we needed. The door on the back patio, glass panel would not stay up (just FYI). We also could not figure out how to turn the base board heat off in there - turned the knob to several places and it would not go off. Very minor issues. We loved the neighborhood, the birds and blooming flowers and trees. Very quiet and peaceful. ”
