“Our family just recently visited the Secret Slough. It was the secluded retreat that we hoped it would be. Very, very private! We thoroughly enjoyed the welcoming entrance with the sound of the waterfall as we arrived to the house. The house is very spacious and suited our family perfectly. We cook a lot and we found the house to be very accommodating for our needs. Lots of utensils, pots, pans, and basic spices. Very well stocked. Even had a colander and I was impressed. “Beautiful cabin like home with some fun decorations, every amenity was provided for, including multiple beach towels, every kitchen utensil you can imagine, sundries, amazing kitchen. Tv’s abound, the views are amazing. Quiet location on the lake. The boat area was very nice, would have loved to fish but was here for a death in the family and needed a fast place to stay. The host was quick to respond and very accommodating to my waffling about extending to stay near family and then rescinding to……

“Kitchen was wonderful. Double wide refrigerator, separate, large freezer and an industrial ice machine. House located on Lewis Smith Lake. Beautiful setting. Water in Lake very clean. Kids enjoyed jumping off the rocks into the lake. Check in was easy. We were a party of 14. Room for you to bring your boat. Had a great time. ”

“My family of four and friends stayed here for a week and loved it. The house is big enough for two families and the kitchen is stocked. We enjoyed board games when it rained and puzzles. The dock faces west so we enjoyed many fabulous sunsets. We loved how flat this property is getting to the dock! The covered dock location is great on the lake because our boat lives at Trident so that was convenient. We enjoyed hours and hours of skiing, tubing, and wake boarding on this beautiful lake”
