“The house and property were perfect for our trip down for a family wedding at The Barn Smith Lake. There were 25 of us and plenty of space to spread out if needed or to just hang out. As we left, everyone was already talking about coming back when it is warmer!”

“I had such a lovely stay at the Lillypad! Entry was seamless and everything was extremely clean- not to mention beautifully decorated! I was greeted with complimentary wine, chocolate, popcorn and a lovely sunset over the lake that I could view from windows lining the back of the house. This was the perfect scene for a quiet retreat. I took the kayak out on the water, sat by the fire pit, and read in the cozy living room. I even ventured into Cullman (about 30 Minutes away) for a delicious……

“We stayed here during Thanksgiving. I was concerned about cooking a full Thanksgiving dinner at a rental. This property has the best stocked kitchen I've stayed in yet! We have stayed in places all over Europe and the US. You can tell when the owner spends time there compared to an investment property. Wonderful!”

It was beautiful and we were so glad to have plenty of space to spread out, everyone had their own rooms and bathrooms, and there was also a great gathering space for us to all be together inside and outside. We do wish that there was coffee provided in the welcome basket, but other than that the whole stay couldn't have been better! Definitely want to return. ”
