“Apartment is spacious and clean. Some traffic noise during the day as it’s on the Main Street but not too bad. Definitely recommend. Good location to explore south Scotland, Edinburgh and Glasgow. Easy shopping for groceries and a good restaurant nearby. The Broomgate. ”

“Cass and Charlie’s stone cottage is a brilliant spot to day trip from that offers a quiet home nestled into incredible countryside.The cottage is roomy, beautifully appointed and amazing walks are right outside your door.Coffee in the morning in the courtyard and a stroll to say hello to the sheep, cows, horses, rabbits and pheasants were a smashing start to each day.We loved every minute with Cass and Charlie. We think you will too!”

“The Bothy is a great find. Intimate space ideal for a couple that would suit a small family too. Bothy was spotless. Some nice walks nearby and interesting spots a short drive away. The hot tub is really welcoming on a cold evening.”

“Warm and cozy sleeping with the shutters and curtains drawn. Respect the house, switch on the pump if you light the fire, and yes I loved the wood smoke smells, it is mostly round the fire, if the fire is only embers you can switch off the pump, it's circulating the hot water from the fire, I was able to see local interests and the wonderful fresh air, excellent countryside. The ruin of Carmicheal House makes me wonder at its one time beauty, and it's just a short walk to from the cottage,……

“Exceptional property, well equipped, comfortable beds, plenty dining and lounge seating. Spotlessly clean with lots of little extras- afternoon tea home baking and breakfast left by host. Sebastian was an excellent host welcoming and available. Highly recommended”
