“Apartment is spacious and clean. Some traffic noise during the day as it’s on the Main Street but not too bad. Definitely recommend. Good location to explore south Scotland, Edinburgh and Glasgow. Easy shopping for groceries and a good restaurant nearby. The Broomgate. ”

“Schönes Cottage mitten in der Natur. Sehenswürdigkeiten zwischen Glasgow und Edinburgh sind gut zu erreichen. Das Haus ist sauber und aufgeräumt und mit allem ausgestattet was zur Sebstverpfegung nötig ist. Hervorzuheben ist der Glasfaser Anschluss eine super Anbindung ins Internet. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war problemlos.”

“We had one of our most wonderful holidays in Scotland in this beautiful cottage. The check-in process was smooth, and the hosts gave us such a warm welcome – they are truly lovely people. The house and the location are stunning – it’s a place where you immediately feel at home. After many day trips, it was always so nice to know that we could return to this cosy and charming cottage. We would love to come back and can wholeheartedly recommend it!”

“We checked in a little late but this was not a problem as we called ahead. We found Eagle Lodge with ease. The lodge was clean and everything we could need. However, we did have to purchase air freshener as the lodge had a strong musty smell but it soon disappeared once we had been there for a couple of day'. The kitchen is very compact but more than useable. All rooms are a good size. The furniture is a mish mash. And I think some of it could actually belong in a museum but it was all……

“The Cottage was cute and had every thing we needed, the fire was so lovely and I ws really able to relax. The Estate is amazing with such history and great walking. The food from the farm shop was wonderful and the pre cooked meals and pies were divine. I look forward to visiting again.”

“Very private, cosy cottage surrounded by woodland on a beautiful estate with plenty of routes to walk. The only thing that could be improved would be to have more dishes so they didn't need to be washed as frequently.”

“Het huisje is oud en authentiek ingericht. Super netjes schoon en fijn ingedeeld. Aan alle dingen was gedacht. Matten voor de vieze schoenen, schone wasmachine en een zachte vloer. Heerlijke douche! We zijn gedurende ons verblijf bijna de estate niet af geweest. Op de 22 hectare grond die erbij hoort kan je heerlijk wandelende en zie je om iedere hoek een stuk gescheideners of vervallen ruïne ”

“We enjoyed the stay very much. A beautiful property with a small river and lots of wildlife. Just the thing for nature lovers. The kitchen was well equipped, so self-catering was easy.”

“A fabulous house for a truly lovely break away. Lovey spacious accommodation, done to a very high standard. Everything we needed was there. I would highly recommend it and we hope to go back. Do try to arrive in daylight hours as it is not the easiest to navigate in the dark.”
