“Having stayed in Wanlockhead for a week at the end of June 2021, this property seemed like an ideal overnight stay during a house move from the the South Coast to Aberdeen. Within easy distance of the M74 and very peaceful. Loved the bold décor. Excellent nights rest , the downstairs bed was very comfortable and the property spotlessly clean.”

“Caravan was comfortable and was OK for the couple of nights we stayed However some half used items of food had been left in the fridge and the furnishings were a little worn. Caravan and bed were creaky although this was mainly down to the high winds the weekend we were there.”

“This is a fantastic cottage in an adorable village. It has rolling hills, a burn and lots of sheep! The cottage itself was quite large and was fit for our family of 6, including adult children and their spouses. It was clean, decorated well and rather comfortable. There are amenities within walking distance such as a pub, museum, etc. We wished we had stayed longer and we'll definitely return!”

“Stayed at this property for Christmas week with our adult kids and hosted Christmas dinner for several local family members. The property was fantastic. Very clean and extremely well appointed, particularly the kitchen. We loved the cozy living room in the evenings for family games and movie watching. Bedrooms were comfortable and bathrooms were well built. Location is lovely, tucked behind a new housing development but very private. Management company was responsive to issues, even sent out an……
