"Interesting old hotel in a great location. Interior is a little tired, especially in the rooms, but nice bar and helpful reception staff. We asked to move from the first room we were allocated due to the smell. Staff arranged transfer with minimal fuss and second room great."

"Great hotel,helpful staff, beautiful location. Food was excellent. Hope to stay again. Only fault was non existent wi fi in room. Had to go to restaurant to connect. Probably our room is just too far away from router."

"Overall impression was that it was lovely, a beautiful position with views across the valley. The cottage was obviously well maintained and with everything had been thought about. There were lots of places to go and to walk all not far from the cottage. Some lovely pubs close by serving good food ..."

"This was our third visit (possible fourth) and it was a pleasure to return. It is an excellent spot for those who love nature and walking, there are many great walks from the door and especially when you have collie dogs as we have who are happy to roam in the hills for hours. Lots to do in the area ..."
