“Be careful not to miss it on the road - that said, once you turn in from 390, the place is unassuming but highly hospitable. The room we stayed in met all our needs - including a kitchen nook equipped with cooking needs and plates and silverware. We were in the midst of 90-degree days, but the air conditioning worked just fine. There were ample clean towels provided and the owner/proprietor was very eager to assure a smooth check in and that all our needs were met. We would definitely stay……

“Although not a fancy 5 star hotel, the Fern Ridge was a very pleasant surprise! We had expected the lower rate to mean a small room without much comfort, but found the friendliness of the staff to go above and beyond what one would receive at ANY rated hotel.
