Beautiful log cabin home on the east river! Private hot tub and fishing access!

This beautiful 4 bedroom 2.5 bathroom log cabin home is located in Crested Butte South, just 7 miles from Historic Downtown Crested Butte. Sitting just steps from the East River and with expansive down valley views of mountains and ranch land, this home provides a luxurious and peaceful setting for your vacation in the Rocky Mountains.

This home is the perfect space for a large family or two smaller families. It has a well equipped kitchen, dining room and large living room with a wood burning fireplace and vaulted ceilings. Go fishin' just outside your back door on the private 3 acres of fishin' property and enjoy the outdoor hot tub after a busy day of biking, hiking or shopping while listening to the river rush by. This home can also be used as a hunting cabin in the Fall. The owner is an avid hunter, so you will see mounted animals on walls in the home.

Bedrooms as follows: [1] Queen, [2] Queen, [3] Queen with a chair that can double as a twin bed, twin bed [4] 2 Bunk Beds, one is a Twin set and the second set is a Double.

The Historic Town of Crested Butte is just a short drive or bus ride away! Enjoy local shops, local art galleries and all of the wonderful restaurants that we have to offer! Now offered a FREE BUS service from CB South to Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte.

**This property is pet friendly. Our pet policy is as follows. We allow up to two dogs in the property. There is a $250 refundable pet deposit and a $15 a day pet fee per dog. We do not allow cats.**

Stunning Views and Lots of Comfortable Space

This space fit our 3 family group perfectly! The home is conveniently located in Crested Butte South with such easy access to the main part of town and then the resort! The area around the home is extremely scenic with the most picturesque stream running right out the back door! There was snow and just a really great space for the kids (and adults) to play in it. I imagine this space in summer is amazing - without snowing allowing you to utilize even more of the outdoor space! We didn't need host much but when I did reach out, they were always quick to respond and provide answers. Check in on a Sunday afternoon and check out in the wee hours of Friday morning, was a breeze with packet pick up and drop off, less than 1 mile from the home. Check out from the home was easy with clear instructions. Go to Crested Butte, you won't regret it and stay here with you people!

Great spot from which to see Crested Butte. Convenient to biking trails and fishing was terrific right out the back door. Very spacious and fully appointed. Can’t go wrong with a stay here.

Fantastic cabin in crested butte!

The property was absolutely beautiful and the cabin had everything we needed to enjoy a long weekend with friends. We enjoyed the hot tub, cooking a meal, sitting on the patio enjoying the views and being so close to town and nearby hikes. Check in was quick and easy. We would definitely stay here again!

Peaceful mountain retreat!

We absolutely loved this property! The kitchen was well stocked which was perfect for us as we like to cook a few meals while staying in CB. The steam shower in the main lower level bathroom was addicting! It was perfect for warming up in the morning or coming home after a long day of fishing and hiking. The view from the living room window is incredible. Often times we would leave the tv off so we could hear the sounds of the East River, which can clearly be heard throughout the home. The lawn was amazing! It made the home feel very private And was such a great space for our pup. We look forward to staying here again!

Absolutely beautiful cabin, wonderful location

The pictures associated with this VRBO are amazing, but they still don’t do this place justice! It is absolutely beautiful. Quiet and a little secluded. Very clean and had all of the amenities we needed. Everyone in our group (including our dog) had the best time. Will definitely stay again!

Beautiful property

The home was perfect for our family for a memorial visit for my wife who passed away in February. We all enjoyed the property, was clean, needs a few updates but overall did not disappoint! Peak staff was great and made the visit very enjoyable.

Beautiful home in a very special setting! This home is well equipped and quite comfortable. An appliance issue was looked at very quickly. Fishing right at the home was successful, with many hiking and biking opportunities were nearby. Although I'm thinking the house is great in any season, book this house to visit CB in July to view the beautiful mountain flowers!

Our Home Away From Home

Our family just spent 4 glorious days at this amazing property! The home is beautifully rustic, and the setting is majestic! We could see the snow covered Rockies from every window. The East River flows in the backyard. We could only imagine how wonderful it would be to sit outside enjoying it and fishing in the summer! The hot tub was, also, a big hit with our family. The location of the home was close enough to Mt. Crested Butte, but far enough away for peace and quiet. We would love to come back!

Fantastic property

We rented this house for our family to spend MLK weekend with my brother and his family. We had 9 people in total and one dog. It was the perfect property. We skied all day and spent the evenings playing games and watching football in front of the fireplace. Perfect sleeping arrangements, comfortable lounging space, and a beautiful cabin with and incredible view. Awesome property managers who are accessible and easy to work with. We plan on coming back in the summer. Don’t forget to take advantage of Tully’s in CB South. Tully’s makes a great pizza and has a fantastic beer selection to enjoy while you wait. Thanks for sharing your property!

Wonderful cabin on the river

This home was great for 2 families. Location was wonderful and is even more perfect if you or you kids like fishing. We caught fish daily, tubed down from the bridge and enjoyed the porch all day long.

Perfect for active family

The house is beautiful and located perfectly for hiking and mountain biking. Fly-fishing on the East River was spectacular. The common spaces were perfect for our big family to sit together or spread out. Key pick up/drop off was close by and effortless. Highly recommended.

Wonderful

Great location at end of road. The river is right behind the house and hearing it flow was very relaxing. There is a beautiful flower bed in the front of the house that was visited by hummingbirds. We also enjoyed visits by deer in the yard and across the river. The interior of the house was clean and very comfortable for our party of 8. It’s nicely decorated and the beds are very comfortable. The house is close to stores and nice restaurants. I would definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

Nice stay

Overall nice stay. Location good for skiing. Great real wood fireplace and hot tub. Decor could use a little updating, and some of the dishes in the cabinet were dirty. I think this was because the dishwasher wasn't working very well. I'd recommend the owner fix the dishwasher and ensure the dishes are clean before renting. Also the process had a lot of paperwork mainly because it's managed by a management company.

Absolutely Beautiful Property!!

The pictures do not do this property justice!! We enjoyed our beautiful view from the hot tub every day and the village town within walking distance was helpful. Loved having a real fireplace with wood and the space was great with kids. Would definitely book again. Thanks for letting us stay!!

We enjoyed our stay! We knew when we booked, that the home only had 2.5 bathrooms and that our large group would need to share. So we went in with accurate expectations. The location, square footage/yard, and well stocked kitchen were perfect for our needs. It was a short easy drive to Crested Butte and the ski resort. The few minor maintenance issues were mentioned at check out because we didn't mind working around them while there.

Cabin Review

Beautiful Log cabin home on a natural river setting. home needs some TLC and a deep clean and some minor maintenance. Lots of cobwebs inside and out especially around windows and doors, the screen door leading from the dining area to the deck is in disrepair and there are a number of wooden chairs on the deck that are unstable and pose an injury risk, Overall stay was very pleasant and would stay there again.
