Butte House - Pet friendly home with a private hot tub

This very rustic home sits peacefully on the edge of town is surrounded by breathtaking views and large yard for privacy and play. Please note this home has major wear and tare due to it being pet friendly and in town. Hot tub nestled under deck off master bath. There is a comfortable couch or queen blowup bed in the additional studio space located above the garage.

Just a short stroll or a townie bike ride a few blocks away from this charming and friendly resort town offering art/wine festivals, out/indoor concerts, theater, tennis, shopping, ice skating rink, skateboard, and town parks, along with fabulous restaurants & fun nightlife. Half a block from a convenient free shuttle through town, or jump on for a quick 5 min. ride to a chair lift for skiing or summer downhill biking/ hiking in wildflower splendor.

A nonrefundable $250 Dog fee is required if you bring your furry friend. We will allow a 2nd dog for an additional $50. You must notify us in advance.

The house is a great location and beautiful view. Plenty of space and easy walk to town. The property could be better about maintenance as numerous items were broken or not working and should be simple fixes such as windows that don’t close and window shades not working.

Beautiful, large home in town of Crested Butte
The house is well laid out, as described online, and perfectly situated on the outskirts of the town of crested Butte such that it is a quick walk to the main street and also has a beautiful view of the mountains. We would definitely stay there again.

Awesome cabin with perfect location
We loved the cabin and the rustic mountain atmosphere. We enjoyed the hot tub and the back yard. The location was perfect for getting to and from the ski resort shopping and restaurants. Crested Butte is awesome we will be back!

Once it was a beautiful mountain home. Now it is tired and worn. Upholstered furnishings and carpet are shabby. Many repairs are needed, faucets drip, powder room toilet seat broken, and deck and blinds need repair, for example. Cleanliness is fair. Windows need washing. Not toddler safe. Views and location are great. It has a great location and spectacular views.

The layout worked great for our family. We had tons of snow and the driveway was kept shoveled and the deck was too. Some of the bed sheets were dirty and the dishwasher clogged but we had epic powder days and all our concerns washed away. Id stay here again.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Comfortable house in a great location, just steps away from the bus to skiing and short walk to town for dinner. House was comfortable and clean and we will definitely consider staying here again on our next visit.

Great location!
Overall we had a great trip. The location of this property is hard to beat, and the view from the front yard is amazing. However, there is no seating in the front yard, so views are hard to enjoy. The hot tub is in the back yard, which currently faces a large construction project. Rooms downstairs were a little dark and dusty, but we weren't there much because there is so much to do in CB!

Great family house!
This property worked great for my whole family! It was the perfect amount of space to celebrate the Fourth of July weekend! Also, great location. I’ve stayed in multiple rental homes in Crested Butte and this was far enough away from Elk Ave to avoid the noise of the heavy traffic of the holiday weekend but close enough to walk to everything! Would definitely stay again!

A charming, beautiful, comfortable home
Beautiful, charming, comfortable home. SO many extras that made it easy to cook and relax. The town center was such a close walk. The restaurants were great and so was the shopping. But the crowning glory was the changing leaves. Breathtaking. We had a blast and heartily recommend the house!

Great Location, Staff at Alpine Getaways Nice, but...
The disappointment was evident shortly after we walked in. When we called about a plumbing problem, the Alpine Getaway staff was very courteous and attentive. However, we were surprised that the lack of housekeeping issues had not been addressed because a previous rental guest left a review that addressed our same concerns with our stay. Cobwebs, spider webs, wasps, spiders, stained sheets, light bulbs out in lamps/chandeliers/ceiling, lip stains on the glassware, kitchen items were dusty, less than clean refrigerator and stove, and no chairs set up around back deck table so that we may enjoy sitting at the table.

This property was excellent for my group which included several teenagers and a few adults. The property managers were very responsive when a glitch happened. The house is great for groups and a quick walk to town. Also located right next to the gas cafe which has great breakfast!

Very nice house, great location
We enjoyed our stay over Christmas in the Butte House and will consider staying there again. The house was very comfortable and large enough for our group of 5 adults to spread out. The beds were comfortable, however, the pillows could have been a bit better. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and dishware. The location was extremely convenient to the ski shuttle as well as an easy walk to the shops and restaurants on Elk. As for areas needing improvement, while the listing noted that pets were allowed, I failed to ask if that included cats, which it obviously did, as a couple of our party are very sensitive to cat dander/hair and were affected by it. The house also appeared not to have been recently occupied/deep cleaned as there were many spiderwebs hanging from kitchen cabinets right above prep areas, and on many light fixtures and lamps, as well as a dirty towel in the washing machine. The Wifi did not work at all during our stay; however, the management company attempted to provide an alternative internet source, but that did not work either. One of the downstairs baths did not have a privacy door from the bedroom, which was a bit quirky for the occupants of that room. A snow shovel for the front porch would have been helpful in making the porch and walkway safer. Initially, the gas fireplace did not work, but the management company rectified that as quickly as possible.
