There is off site parking that is very close, worth it to avoid the $30/day parking fee. I can’t say enough about this property! The slope side room is worth the little bit extra!! No regrets! Will stay again if back that way. It’s fantastic!

They need to have pet only rooms and no pet allowed rooms. Our room smelled like dogs had just been in there. Also, there was pet hair on duvet covers but the front desk had new ones brought in.

It would be nice to have air conditioning and the steam room was out of service and only a few of the jacuzzi tub jets were working.

Dreadful. Power out… not their fault. Had to walk up stairs but not all stairs were accessible to all floors. Dark hallways lead to dead ends. Outside firepit not working….trouble with gas. Room that was supposed to look out to “valley” looked out to roofs. Very disppointing. Will never stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. We got a free room upgrade, it was quiet, clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff was always available to help and offered lots of recommendations for things to do in the area. The hotel itself was very nice, lots of live music, the food at the hotel restaurant was amazing, the common area was gorgeous — I can’t say enough good things about our stay. Our only regret is that we weren’t able to stay longer.

- Floor was covered in white pet hair - Multiple black curly hairs in shower and bathroom - No AC, hot at night - Paid for 'valley view' but got view of another building from deck - Bathroom smelled moldy, no ventilation, had to keep door open when showering - Hallways were dingy and dark, really needs updating - Trash 'bags' were sheets of plastic wrap or similar, how cheap do you have to be to not have a proper bag. Biggest thing is we both woke up with red bites on us that are still burrowing -- would not recommend this place especially for 250 + a night -- we ended up leaving early cause it was so bad.

Be aware that there is no A/C. Customer service was sub par at best. Dated hotel, parking is expensive. For the price would not return.

The area in general is beautiful. Bellmen and housekeeping staff were kind, helpful and very accommodating. Twice the front desk staff were rude, their communication skills lacking. The indoor pool is incredibly small. The pictures on the website are deceiving . Room was not clean; it was dusty, the bed did not appear to have fresh sheets, something was black and smudged on the pillowcase and sheets. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and felt like they had not purchased new mattresses in a very long time. The pullout couch bed was very dirty, old, uncomfortable. All in all, not worth the big daily rate, daily parking fee, daily resort fee. The property is very old, feels dirty and the younger staff working the front desks are lacking in hospitality communication.

It is a nice property in a pretty location. The room was good except there is NO air conditioning. The weather was hot and the room did not cool down at night. They provided a large fan that needed to run all night and was very noisy. We did not sleep well!

Beautiful luxurious and spacious room. However, be advised that there is no air conditioning at this hotel. They will tell you it cools down at night, but it really doesn’t cool down enough in the summer months. The shower is one of those that doesn’t have a door or a barrier to the rest of the bathroom, so you have to hug the wall if you don’t want to flood the bathroom. In our room, there was no water pressure, and the hand-held (cheap) shower head leaked terribly so that you couldn’t really work with it to get your hair washed. This is not acceptable in an ADA room where it could be a person’s only option for showering. They provide a portable fan and there is a ceiling fan, however the cord is not long enough to reach the cool air coming from the patio at night (bring your own extension cord). The screen door to the patio was also torn from the bottom. We absolutely LOVED that the room included a small full kitchen with oven, stove, microwave, cupboards with dishes, and sink. No dish soap, so bring your own. Except for the negatives I mentioned, I could see myself staying here for several days, just not in the dog days of summer. One more thing to consider: because you need to leave the patio door open in the summer to get the cool air, you will be awakened by all the noise coming from the ski lift, which commutes cyclists to the top of the ski slope and whatever beeps come from little trucks doing construction (?) work. Mountaineer Square is a busy, noisy place.

The hotel could benefit from some updates. The beds were uncomfortable, and the room cleanliness was below expectations. At check-in, we didn’t receive any information about amenities or their locations. The pool and hot tub appeared unclean, and parking was quite limited. Overall, the experience did not meet the standards we were hoping for.

Maybe one of the most bland hotel experiences ever. Patio door didn’t sit on a track. No chairs on the patio. No air conditioner, which is fine, until your neighbors smoke weed on their patio half the night and another has a 6:00am call on their patio. Staff didn’t look up from their phones, greet, or show any level of, “glad you’re here!” Parking is a nightmare. It’s either over sold or under enforced. The town and nearby recreational opps are epic. Nothing like it. Elevation, however, is like store brand 2% milk. Adequate.

The parking garage is a terrible design and not nearly large enough. We had to park down the street. The staff didn't charge us the parking fee due to the inconvenience, but still, for what we paid we were not happy. The elevators are a joke as well. Pool is tiny. Our room was nice and the hotel was clean with friendly staff. Heads up for summer visitors: there seemed to be no air conditioning in our room and the large fireplace near checkin was roaring. We will not use this hotel again.
