What a brilliant place!
We chose this apartment to take the family away for a week in North Wales, where we've stayed before. Ourselves, a couple of "active retirees!" with our 2 sons and their families so 6 adults and 4 kids from 3 to 14.
On arrival we were met by the host. Parking outside for 3 cars plus some on street parking. Up to the 1st floor and there's a massive living room and a few steps up to an equally massive dining and kitchen area. Everything you might want, a big range oven, big fridge and freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine etc. etc.
A massive (again!) en-suite and fancy bathroom, 2 more double bedrooms and another 2 bedrooms with twin beds. 2 bath/shower rooms and 3 toilets in all.
Stuff to do: well, the village has all the shops and pubs to keep you going (we cooked most nights) a stroll to the railway station (get the train to Porthmadog, Harlech, Pwllheli, saves parking!), park and mini golf, beaches. We also took a trip to Coed y Brenin for some serious mountain biking on the black route - gentler trails also in abundance. Black Rock Sands was popular with the boys for paddleboarding and bodyboarding but we preferred Abersoch which was sandy, had all the facilities and allowed the family to get bored while I went out on my windsurfer for an hour or two.
Any negatives? Well only that the jigsaw they have there was too hard and defeated us! One more day would have done it!
Many thanks Amanda and Mike, an excellent stay.
