“House was comfortable, clean and well stocked. We were hiking a section of the AT and it was very convenient to several trailheads and a store in Bland. We enjoyed relaxing on the front porch after our hikes amongst the peaceful countryside and friendly grazing cows! Awesome sunsets as a bonus.”

“We went for a 3 day weekend to run a trail race in Grayson Highlands state park. The house was a 30 minute drive from the park. Beautiful drive to the house and the park. We enjoyed resting at the house before and after our time at the park. The house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The property was lovely and we enjoyed walking the property and sitting outside reading.”

“This home had plenty of room for the 5 adults that went on a quick 2 night getaway. We saw deer in the yard both mornings and sat outside in the evenings with drinks and just enjoyed the surroundings. The home has everything you could need for a comfortable stay.”

“Visited and rode the twisty roads that surround this area. This place is just amazing. I’ll be back with my wife. Over a mile from the paved road on 50 acres. It’s gorgeous , serene and I didn’t want to leave. It’s probably my favorite rental so far over the years. The house is great and accommodating as well. Plenty of room and bathrooms. Everything you need in the kitchen. You won’t regret coming here. Great place!! ”

“Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay at Sweet Retreat. While it was cold and snowy outside we were able to relax in a spacious home and also partake of the hot tub. Large fenced backyard was great for the pup while in the summer it would combine great with the pool and outdoor amenities!”

“We had a wonderful stay with our extended family at Jack and Mary’s Place. The house is one of the best VRBOs we’ve ever stayed in. It’s very well stocked and perfect for large groups. We loved looking at the river and being close to local attractions. Thanks for helping make our Thanksgiving so special.”

“We loved the quiet. The cottage is very nice and the host has thought of everything! We spent an evening watching the deer who ventured very close to the cottage.”

“It is a gorgeous place and so clean. ”

“My husband and his brothers stayed here for over a week while on a hunting trip. They were comfortable; the location was convenient; the owner was quick to respond to questions; the home was accommodating and clean. They plan to stay again next year!”

“Or only issue was the front steps and hand rail were very rickety. Almost tripped several times. These should be fixed or at least some form of warning sign should be posted ”
