“We enjoyed this property for 2 weeks in June-July, including the Canada day holiday. Large covered deck overlooking tidal lagoon is very relaxing. Enjoyed the Canada Day events in Sidney and riding bikes to Swartz Bay ferries for day trips. We may well return next summer. If we go again we would check tide table ahead of time for afternoon paddleboarding. Interior of property comfortable. ”

“This was exactly what we needed after a week of camping on our road trip - this place is so lovely, from the cabin itself (inside and out), to the big trees surrounding it, the pathway through the forest, the delicious breakfast and coffee, and of course the most relaxing bath/shower outside. Tara was so welcoming and was helpful highlighting spots around the island. Would highly recommend and we hope to visit again soon! ”

“Amazing view, quiet location and lovely hosts! Fantastic communication with hosts who want to please! Clean and meticulously maintained home and yard. What more could one ask for?! To sit in the evening and watch the twinkle of the harbour and airplane lights across the strait was priceless, not to mention the amazing sunrise over the ocean. A 10 minute walk to all amenities including shopping and restaurants can’t be beat. A piece of paradise for sure. ”

Rob gave us a tour of the property and made us feel so welcome.The airstream was clean and cozy and the property was ideally located on the river - so tranquil and beautiful. We were surprised to find that this was one of the most comfortable places we have ever stayed on the island. The bed was very comfortable, the shower excellent, and there is an incredible view.
