“My family came to here as a place to stay and get rest while visiting local sites & going to the 151st Kentucky Derby. It was perfect for coming home to after all the days rushful events. It would be a great place to come if you need to take a step away from everyday life and just be. Maybe next time that is what we will do.”

“This cabin was absolutely lovely! It’s off the beaten path for sure, and felt very safe with a large gate at the front entrance! Soft linens, excellent pots and pans for cooking on! The water pressure and how hot the shower got, was absolutely amazing! The shower is 10/10! Loved it! The porch is lovely and very spacious! “We visited during HS spring break which was a historically rainy time but was a welcomed get away with family. The place is located in a great location to enjoy the water, weather permitting. The house was very clean upon arrival helping make us feel welcomed. The screened in back porch is great to watch nature regardless of the weather. Upon recommendation of the host, we ate at Little Dave’s pizza which was great. Their menu is large enough to accommodate anyone. The dam is a very short drive……
