“Location was amazing, house was clean and roomy. The only bad thing was the parking garage . It’s not too close to house and instructions to open it were never conveyed through the email . We had to contact maintenance to see how to work the garage doors . They did answer promptly. Overall it was a pretty view and relaxing atmosphere.”

“This was a great tucked away spot behind a vineyard. It was cozy and great access to the lake. It was smack in the middle of many wineries and 15 minutes to watkins glen. There is no air conditioning but fans were supplied. It is supplied with well water. Bring your basic cooking supplies oil, butter and seasonings. ”

“The house was clean and roomy for us. The views were beautiful and there was plenty to do close by, even in late January!”

“Very nice accommodations with only two minor issues: The bathrooms don't have enough towel racks so we had to hang our towels on coat hangers and the wireless Internet was spotty. We had difficulties with our computers and watching TV because of frequent buffering on days when the weather wasn't near perfect. “The interior of the house is very nice although it is not stocked as well as other house we have rented. It would have been nice to have more towels and blankets. The 3 car limit for parking was stressful as we had family members that came and went during our stay. The state park nearby is lovely with a military museum, mini golf, beach and playground. The sunset views were spectacular.”

“I recently stayed at a Seneca Lake cottage that truly deserves its five-star rating! The modern decor and fantastic lake views made it the perfect getaway. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and provided thoughtful touches, from local treats, to pet cookies, to helpful recommendations. The location was serene yet conveniently close to wine trails and everything Seneca Lake has to offer. Every detail was attended to, making my stay both relaxing and memorable. I can't recommend this cottage……

“Beautiful cabin and location. The pictures are a bit outdated actually, we were pleasantly surprised that things seemed more modern than the listing portrayed. Easy check in / check out. Only issues we ran into were the parking restrictions and weren’t notified of the additional parking across the street until right before we arrived. Would have been nice to know prior. The beds aren’t very comfortable and we could have used a few more toiletries. Otherwise, we had a lovely time and would stay……

“Everything went great. The only problem we had was the grill that didn't work, but it was quickly replaced with another one. There is a railroad right behind the property and the train woke up our baby once. But they go very rarely and this is mentioned in the description.”

“This cottage is RIGHT ON the water. It was perfect for a couple's getaway. The kitchen was well stocked and I enjoyed sitting in the sun porch with a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. The docks and deck were nice for fishing and for just sitting to enjoy the lake. And because the cottage is about 35 steps down from the road it was VERY quiet. My only complaint is with the management company and the fees. The listing said that linens and towels were included, but……

“We booked this for a family birthday weekend and it was perfect. The location is amazing, right on the water, but also on a quiet street. The check in process was easy. The house was very clean. We had family over and they loved it. There is plenty of room for guests to visit. It’s so peaceful! We did not want to leave! Thank you for a wonderful birthday weekend!”

“Beautiful home in a gorgeous private lakeside lot. Landscaping was beautifully done! Enjoyed the nice sized dock for fishing. Also took the kayaks out. Close to Watkins Glen and wineries. Had a wonderful last big weekend with our kids and grands!”
