Need to be organised with food n drink as there are no shops locally.Pub 30 mins walk away on very quiet road. Very relaxing break lovely sunny garden. Had the most perfect 5 days”

“I stayed Monday to Friday as I was working in Whitehaven. Kitchen had everything I needed, bed was comfy, nice reclining sofasvand good wifi. House was well located, took a stroll to the castle in the evening and the co-op supermarket v. close, quite big and with a good selection.”

“The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed. A minor niggle, but it was a bit cluttered with cushions and throws in the sitting room - the throws just slid off the leather sofas and the cushions were too big and too many, so were surplus to requirements. The location suited us very well, with a host of lovely walks and places to visit nearby. We had a wonderful break and can recommend!”

“We really enjoyed our stay! The listing said it had a hot tub but when we arrived it didn’t. I read after that the external company listed it incorrectly. The only down side was the property wasn’t cleaned very well - old used contact lenses around the desk and bedside table and there was hairs on the bathroom shelf. I did a quick clean myself and throughly enjoyed the rest of our week the location was perfect and our lodge was next to the pond which was lovely.”

“Stayed at the apartment for a few days over the Easter period with my 13yr old. Self check in was simple using the digital key lock and key safe. Having the car parking space was a real bonus. It’s just across the road being the shops and I had no trouble with my medium sized car. Large lounge, new smart TV, loads of books, DVDs and maps available. Kitchen is fully stocked and there are great views from the windows. Would recommend and will be back!”
