In the main house we have 4 elegant king en-suite bedrooms with plush bedding, luxurious towels and premium toiletries, the master a super-king bed with freestanding bath and rain shower. Separate air-conditioned Villa adjacent to the main house and tennis court with king bed, ensuite bathroom, kitchenette, and woodfired combustion heater. The Media room provides an immersive experience inviting and intimate movie experience. Guests are welcome to explore the gardens and slashed tracks in the vicinity of the residence during daylight hours. As mobile phone coverage is not universally available, please remain within sight of the house at all times and be mindful of children in and around waterways. Swimming is not allowed except in the pool at the Residence. Please respect the natural habitat and wildlife by avoiding littering and staying within the slashed tracks, and be aware of the presence of livestock. Whilst they are generally curious, they can be protective if they feel their young are in danger. Please avoid areas where routine work on livestock is being done. Our onsite Managers will make you aware of any mustering that is scheduled, and if you are unsure, please ask them; they are lovely and willing to assist you. To ensure your stay is as smooth and comfortable as possible, Inverstanley has dedicated on-site managers, Jason and Caroline, who are available to assist with any needs and inquiries. They are dedicated to ensuring your experience is exceptional. You will pass our onsite managers' home upon entry to the cattle station; they are close enough to assist you and far enough away that your privacy is respected. Esk and Toogoolawah are country towns within a 20 minute drive of Inverstanley, Kilcoy is approximately 30 minutes drive and Fernvale 40 minutes. Esk has a lovely family friendly pub "The Grand" with a bottle shop. A wonderful Fruit and Vegetable shop. Chemist, IGA supermarket, bakery, newsagent, cafes, Thai takeaways, our very own coffee roastery. Petrol station and various thrift stores. Local markets held each Saturday morning. Esk also has a small hospital off the main street with 24 hour emergency department. Toogoolawah IGA Supermarket, cafe, chemist, newsagent, petrol station, three pubs. a large bottle shop. A movie theatre "Toogoolawah Pictures" . "Two Galahs Gallery" definitely worth a look. "The Condensary" Somerset regional Art Gallery. "Picnic Society" upmarket cage open on weekends. A popular tourist attraction in our area that runs through both towns, is The Brisbane Valley Rail Trial. Cycle, horse ride or walk the trail. Within 6 minutes of Inverstanley with have 2 great fishing spots, "O'sheas Crossing" and Somerset Dam. Somerset village is only 5 minutes drive and stock the basic supplies, they also have a wee basic takeaways if you don't feel like cooking. Somerset and Wivenhoe Dams are also within the region. A vehicle is absolutely necessary to stay at Inverstanley and visit the surrounding towns. There are no public transport or taxi services available. "Out there Cycling" do however have their own bus services and may be able to assist with larger bookings upon request. Inverstanely is located approximately 1 km off the main road, down a narrow country road, with cattle stops upon entry to the property. You will come across cattle on the driveway. Please drive slowly and carefully, they will move. Things that come with country living-dust, insects, birds, wildlife, snakes, cobwebs, barbed wire fences, and electric fencing. There is a maximum of 10 guests. No parties allowed. As we are a working cattle farm, our main fencing is barbed wire, so we ask that you watch children at all times as there are unfenced water areas, including but not limited to dams, creeks, troughs, and water holes. Please be aware that at times, due to weather conditions, there may be fire bans enforced by Qld Fire Service. These bans are enforceable by law, and fines apply. This means that during these times, NO fires are allowed at all-NO EXCEPTIONS. Fires outside of these times are only to be in the designated areas, for example, the outdoor firepit area and fireplaces located in either the villa or the main house. In confirming this booking, the guests acknowledge that they adhere to the above rules and take responsibility to stay safe at all times.
