“Our stay was very pleasant! No real complaints. Just a quick heads up for anyone this might matter to, when you look out the window the wilderness is literally right there, and so we want to mention that we did encounter some spiders and one house centipede during our stay. To be clear, the place was NOT dirty at all though. So, we just coexisted for the duration of our two day stay. Beyond that, it was comfortable, cozy, and gave us just the dose of nature that we needed. The check in process……

“We thought we rented the entire property, but was half of it. expect a lot of stairs. No bath tubs but two showers. some door knobs and locks need maintenance, but overall nice clean rooms.”

“I chose this apartment for its location primarily and it was a hit. Since we were traveling and staying for two weeks with a toddler and a new baby I was looking for it to also have an outdoor space, and it was wonderful as seen in the pictures. For personal reasons I had to change my dates a few days before my booking was coming up, the hosts had no problem to accommodate my needs. During our stay, we even had the opportunity to meet the neighbor next door and visit her garden. The neighborhood……

“The photos of the unit were beautiful however the wear and tear on the actual property did not compare. The bathroom sink constantly leaked and because the floors were not even they stayed wet. The nightstands were broken the refrigerator would not open all the way. I also was not notified until the day of check in that the unit was on the 3rd floor and there was 2 flights of stairs just to get to the entrance to the unit.”

“This room was listed accurately and has amazing aesthetics. The host was super communicative and attentive and did his best to help me navigate the sidewalk improvements that were being made on the day of my arrival. My one suggestion would be to provide a kureg or similar basic coffee set up in the room for guests. It was my first time to visit Yonkers and there wasn’t a lot of coffee shops there. Thanks for delivering a quality experience, I would stay here again.”

“If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Upon arrival, I received no check-in information, which immediately set the tone for a frustrating experience. When I got to the property, the front door was already open, raising serious concerns about security. Inside, the floors were dirty, the beds were unmade, and the trash from the previous guests had not been removed. There were bugs throughout the space, and the front door handle was broken, making the property feel unsafe and poorly……

“Relaxing stay with plenty of room to enjoy some down time. In a neighborhood in a rural setting about 25 mins from West Point. Wonderful hosts that communicated specific directions so all was clear for arrival and departure. Would do it again.”

"As an experienced traveler, I have to rate this La Quinta a ONE out of Five. The facility is too old to use. To open the door, you need to insert the card key dozens of times. The hall way is not flat, slightly uphill or downhill. The drain of the tub is only half-working. When you take shower your feet are in the water. Basin is cracked and glued. AC sound wakes you up every time when it starts. Breakfast is ok, but lack of food after 8:50, it says that the time of breakfast is 6:30 to 9:30. Parking is free and safe, which is only thing make my thumb up. Overall, with $140 per night price, I must say, I was very disappointed by this hotel!!! By the way, the other La Quinta hotels I have lived in are very good."
