“We loved our stay at the Carriage House. Patrick and Kathryn were wonderful hosts. They provided information in a timely manner, and were quick to respond to any questions. Our accommodations were clean, comfortable and well appointed, and Patrick and Kathryn included truly thoughtful touches. The location was perfect for exploring Croton-on-Hudson and the Hudson Valley. We'd love to come back!”

“I was very impressed with this "hotel". It is more of an AirBB as your unit is an apartment in an apartment building with permant residents. It comes nicely furnished, including basic kitchen essentials (like service for four, pots and pans, coffee maker, etc). All of the amenities are modern, and the in-unit washer dryer is a huge plus. I also really appreciated some of the welcome gifts, including some coffee/tea, laundry detergent, and your basic hygiene essentials.

“This exact property is not available to rent, however it is still on the website and is able to be paid for. We did not know this until check-in and realized we never received a code to get in. It was only when we called the number attached to this property is when we found out that it is not supposed to be available. The owner we spoke to was helpful and relocated us to another property only 5 mins away from the original, which turned out to be a lovely place. It all worked out in the end, but……

“I was fooled by the pictures. Upon check-in, they require to zelle cleaing fee. When I finally got inside, I found absolutely nothing lux about this property, no comfort and hospitality. The broken floor welcome me, all 4 beds are broken, only 2 TVs, moldy restroom, zero confort. They left 4 towels for 6 people for 6 nights. I had to request more towels. I had to scoop water fromthe shower to flush in the toilet because water would not drain. Half roll toilet paper was left. If you take……

“I believe it's the furnished basement of the house with its own entrance. There's a bedroom, sitting area, bathroom/shower, A/C, microwave, mini fridge, iron, TVs. It's nothing fancy but was suitable for my needs (a decent place to sleep and shower).
It's in walking distance of several stops along the North-Metro railroad, Target, the shopping mall, and Sarah Lawrence College. Convenient location to everything I needed since I didn't have a car.

“This property worked out perfectly for our family group. We needed a home that could accommodate 14 people across 3 generations comfortably and this property definitely addressed our needs. “The property was almost exactly as described. The cabin has character and makes you feel at home with the decorations. We had our young grandkids (2 and 4) staying with us. There was plenty of room for them to play, and they loved the bunk beds! When they say the drive is rough, believe it. If you have a car with little ground clearance (Chevy Malibu), you really have to weave around to keep from scraping. Our kids had a mini van and an SUV and they had no problems. “I spent the weekend with my children and grandchildren in this lovely home. It was truly a wonderful experience. Lots of room to spread out. Couldn’t use the pool because it wasn’t open yet, but it was still wonderful weekend. "As an experienced traveler, I have to rate this La Quinta a ONE out of Five.
The facility is too old to use.
To open the door, you need to insert the card key dozens of times.
The hall way is not flat, slightly uphill or downhill.
The drain of the tub is only half-working.
When you take shower your feet are in the water. Basin is cracked and glued.
AC sound wakes you up every time when it starts.
Breakfast is ok, but lack of food after 8:50, it says that the time of breakfast is 6:30 to 9:30.
Parking is free and safe, which is only thing make my thumb up.
Overall, with $140 per night price, I must say, I was very disappointed by this hotel!!!
By the way, the other La Quinta hotels I have lived in are very good."
