“The Hubs & I had a Great Time staying at “The Shack” in Canadian/Lake Eufaula. Just wish we’d have booked a longer stay! It’s so nice & peaceful by the lake & just close enough to everything you need. I’m sure we’ll be returning again soon. Tracy, our host was very helpful & communicating with her was a breeze. Would definitely recommend for a nice relaxing getaway!”

It's not directly on the water, but the relaxing atmosphere was more important for us and the lake was only about 5 minutes away by vehicle. It was clean and check-in and out was easy. Deb was quick to respond. Great place! ”

“Property is remote, but has an amazing view! It was the perfect getaway for a couple of nights. Note that very little grocery shopping is available nearby so plan ahead.We would definitely book this property again!”

We didn't even have to leave the house & neighborhood the week we were there. The view is excellent. The deck is second to none!!!!!!! The large kitchen with TWO dishwasher came in so handy. We hope to return in the future and make even more special memories here. ”

“We had a great stay. Several fishing spots nearby and very private property.”

“We had a great time! The host checked in on us during our stay to make sure everything was going good. The property had plenty of room for our family of 10. The walk to and from the boat dock is a little steep, so keep that in mind. Also, I would drop your boat and trailer off at the marina before you drive to the house. All in all , I would recommend this property over and over again!! ”

“The house was beautiful, secluded, and peaceful. The house was just as pictured and has everything you need to relax. The beds were comfortable and everything you need for a relaxing vacation is provided. There was plenty of room for our extended family Christmas. There is not a lot to do outdoors due to the remote location, and steepness of the lot. As others mentioned, there is no lake access but the view is amazing. The true issue with the property is vehicle access. The road to the cabin……

“The cabin was clean, quiet & out of the way - just what I was looking for. I only saw 2 cars drive buy in the 3 days we were there. We had deer wander up out of the woods every day, and even saw a really young fawn on a couple occasions. Eufala is a short drive away, so you can pick up anything you forgot to bring. ”

“All the privacy and peace once could ask for. We got married Friday night and brought all the leftovers so we never had to leave! It was cccold, but NEVER too cold for the HOT TUB!!”
