“Four of us stayed at this beautiful,private log cabin style home in the woods for the weekend.It was close to town if you needed gas,groceries,souvenir shopping,etc.,The large home was very neat,clean and comfortable.The owners left us a lovely greeting card for when we arrived.Beds were very comfortable.We highly recommend this home and would enjoy another stay there.Thank you.”

“We checked in Friday night around 6pm and the driveway and property was very dark with no lights on. Once we entered the house we attempted to turn the outside light on but it didn’t work. The bedrooms downstairs were freezing. We couldn’t locate a thermostat anywhere downstairs.We assumed that meant the heat downstairs was controlled by the upstairs thermostat but it didn’t specify separate zones so we were confused. I went through the welcome book to make sure there wasn’t something we were……

“House is surrounded by woods in a mountainous area. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. We even played horseshoes in the yard. House has everything you would need. We definitely over packed. It is about a 45 minute drive to Lake George, restaurants, and a Walmart. Highly recommend visiting Martha's ice cream. The wifi is slow...assuming due to the area. My only complaint would be the upstairs master bed. It is creaky and uncomfortable. Would love to visit again during a more peak season. ”

“I had a great stay at the Moose Lodge. The host was very responsive and accommodating. The house was clean and neat and close to town. ”

“Overall, stay was very good. One small thing that wasn’t clear was the mooring for the boat. It was not directly in front of the dock at all I thought I might have to use one of the neighbors if it was necessary. Fortunately, it did not become necessary because the folks that stayed on the property right on the water did not have a boat The only other thing I think is worth mentioning for people who have Boats is that your water inlet is directly in front of the dock and may be an obstruction……
