It was very clean and tranquil, exactly what was needed after getting away from a big city. The views of the many islands on the River Shannon were breathtaking. “We stayed at the Stone House for 4 nights and hated to leave. We were delighted with everything about the house itself, and the view of the ocean and cows was amazing! Being in the Burren was really wonderful and we visited many of the places recommended by our hosts. The pub down the street had delicious food and we tended to avoid the crowds of Doolin. I can’t recommend this house highly enough and we hope to come back some day.”

“The house is bigger than it looks in the pictures. It has everything you might need. The sitting room is amazing, surrounded by windows so you are looking at the Burren from the sofa. The kitchen is huge and we liked having the dining table there close to the big windows. It’s very quiet and very comfortable, and it’s just five minutes by car from town. The surroundings are spectacular. Mary and Poppy were extremely kind. They were very flexible with the check in /out time. They left plenty of……
