“The adobe was redone to create an inviting, comfortable getaway between Santa Fe and Taos. The furnishings seemed to have been picked to create a cosy, relaxing home that has everything you need to step away from daily life. It’s quiet, with stargazing opportunities, and rambles around the rural, artsy neighborhood. The host makes a great neighbor..friendly but not intrusive. We’d go back in a second! ”

“This beautiful home was perfect for our stay in the Santa Fe area. Tesuque Village is lovely and this little house provided the peace and quiet we'd hoped for. The house itself is well appointed, with very comfortable beds and any item you may need for a stay. The host was very responsive and helpful! While there, I was able to enjoy a hike around the property. Beautifully maintained and truly relaxing. Thank you to the Porter Place (April and Pat). We will most definitely be back soon!”

“I loved that it was in the somewhat isolated (but not too isolated) area and there is great hiking, lots to see if you look and not far from the Hot Springs. Lovely drive from Colorado to this area.”

“Beautiful spot close to Santa Fe!! Loved the location, the rooftop hot tub, the fireplaces, the space, and the property had so many things on hand. Didn’t like that the gate code didn’t work (but they eventually got it to us) and that the internet kept going out on streaming services. Overall, would definitely rent again.”

“If you are looking for a quite location to relax and serve as a base for exploring New Mexico, look no further. The home is a short drive north of Santa Fe so you get the convenience of town along with the peaceful, natural beauty of the area. The home fits the description perfectly and has a well appointed kitchen, heated bathroom floors, fireplaces, and whirlpool. Would definitely recommend staying here and hope to return in the future.”

“Wife and I stayed for five days four nights - only met Ron when we first arrived (who was wonderful, gave us a tour and a bit of history about the beautiful property. Just far enough from the city to have that quiet secluded stay yet close enough to pop into town at any time! Can’t wait to return!”

“We stayed at Kenneth's property for two weeks and loved every minute. From the view to the beautiful great room and the well-appointed kitchen--it was all we could have asked for. Both Tom, the manager, and the owners were helpful and responsive. We've stayed in many holiday rentals over the years, and this was, without a doubt, the best. We hope to return!”

“We had 5 adults traveling as a family. 2 couples and our daughter. It would've been nice to have a 3rd bed for her versus a couch. We were close enough to Taos for skiing and to Ojo Caliente for soaking up the hot springs. The area is quiet and the home is spacious.”

“We had a wonderful stay at this home. Lots of windows to see the beautiful outdoors. Rooms were good size and the master had its own fireplace. The kitchen has everything needed to cook. Our dog had lots space and a good area to take her out walks. We were in the mountains but close enough to go into town to explore. Would love to come back!”

“The charming cottage was a lovely getaway. There were five of us, three in the king and two in the queen (the pull out wasn’t serviceable). We got snow on Christmas Day! This was heightened by the two fireplaces and complementary firewood, a real treat! The hosts are very hands on and communicative, so communicate up front if privacy is desired. Overall a wonderful time, we’d stay again with fewer people. ”
