“We had a wonderful stay at this house nestled in a beautiful forested area. The surroundings were peaceful and perfect for relaxing. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. We especially loved sitting outside in the mornings. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature.”

“This was a lovely home with all the amenities. Great mattress and pillows, comfortable living room furniture, loved dining table and chairs that had wonderful view of trees along back yard. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking all meals. Appreciated TV, and box fan in bedroom, plus extra outlet plugs near bed for charging devices. Loved back deck with table and chairs to enjoy all the birds in the trees. There was a gas grill on the deck but I didn’t use. Very scenic drive to get to this……

“This property is truly a gem, making us feel at home yet at a 5-star resort! We traveled for a last minute July 4th holiday visit to see family in Dubuque and hit an absolute jackpot in the Galena Territories! The house was perfect for our three 20-something kids, spouses, and our first 7 month old grandson. The rooms are all huge, the beds were extremely comfy and there were so many special little touches! Mike and Jana were amazing hosts, providing yard and board games and helpful suggestions……

“The house was great! It was very clean, well stocked and decorated nicely. The beds were very comfortable. The location was ideal. It was close enough to downtown to easily walk, but far enough not to have to deal with parking/noise issues. The host was very nice and easy to work with. I would stay there again. ”
