“We rented this cabin to participate in the Colon Cancer Riding for a Reason side-by-side trailhead event at Bass River Resort, and despite the distance to/from the resort, we had a blast driving the backroads and exploring Steelville.This cabin has all of the comforts of home and was very relaxing at the end of the day, after bouncing around in the side-by-side all day. If I had to make any negative comment, it would be the surrounding houses as you're driving in, that are in disrepair, but no reflection on this property. “We chose to stay here with our 4 kids while visiting family in the area. It fit the bill perfectly for what we needed. Check-in process was easy. Bring a pillow if you are able - the ones provided don’t offer much support (we always bring our own when we can!). We are definitely keeping this on our list to revisit when we come back again.
