“The home was amazing. We were met at check in and given a tour of the grounds and the house along with the history of the chateau, the frescos, furniture, and books. We were surprised by the beautiful welcome gift of local cheeses, yogurts, jellies, and wine all of which were enjoyed during our stay. The kitchen was well stocked and modern allowing us to enjoy coffee and breakfast each morning and evening meals. There were a few cold days where some rooms were colder but not miserable. We……

“The apartment was very comfortable. All bedrooms had blackout shutters, which was very nice. Lovely balcony with a pretty view of the towns rooftops and the water in the distance. We had a car so we didn’t use the bus system too much but there is a stop literally right outside the building that will take you all over the city. And the host provides guests with passes that gives access to the bus. Very convenient. The town is very pretty, and has lots of interesting places to se. We enjoyed our……

“This place is clean, convenient to the highway and attractions in nearby Bern, and has excellent sunset views (we were there in May). Parking is easy and there is a bus stop directly across the street. We even found an outstanding Italian restaurant for dinner and a nice bakery for breakfast within walking distance.Conversely, the beds are just ok. A little soft and low for our tastes and the AC could not be adjusted. We found it warm at night.”
