“I stayed here with two college friends while doing a week of mountain biking. The communication with Ty was excellent. Any questions that I had were promptly answered. The location of the property was on a quiet street with friendly neighbors. We found it convenient to have access to place our bikes in the garage. The entire place is decorated nicely and has comfortable furniture as well as a nice shaded space in the back yard. The beds were all very comfortable and had plenty of space. ……

“Had a lovely time and the communication with the property owner was great. This home is a great central location for biking, hiking and activities at Dorena Lake while also being close to town. This has become one of our annual must do's each year.”

“Funky and very rural setting outside of your typical redneck / hippie Oregon town. Lots of big trucks & trailers — and three bookstores and several good restaurants in the cute historic downtown of Cottage Grove. The yurt was very comfortable, just keep in mind you are in a farm. ”

“We stayed on this property for a race. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The property itself was great and we enjoyed exploring it. I would definitely stay here again. ”

“Pretty bummed that we did not get any response from the host when requesting the access to the place on the day of check in. They eventually responded after multiple emails on day 2. We had to find accommodations to cover the first night and there was no offer for compensation. The internet wasn't working and the water was shut off on the 3rd day. My employees live out of their suitcases and count on lodging to be a seamless process. This was not that. Would not recommend for these reasons.”

“Our group of rowers from Arizona had a wonderful stay in this charming lake house. The location on the lakefront is gorgeous, and the house was clean and outfitted with everything we could have wanted. The fireplace was especially welcome on a cold rainy night. And the guardian eagle was such fun to watch! Our host was responsive and gracious. We will definitely try to book again!”

“The house is very clean and updated. The location is rural (no cell recepiton so I'd recommend you download the instructions on getting inside and the maps before you go). It is on the river but no access although we enjoyed the peaceful back deck. It would have been nice to have more than 2 chairs on the back deck. The owner was very responsive and has a nice welcome book with ideas of things to do and we would recommend this place if you stay in this area. ”
