“We sat and watched a major winter storm outside the window. Very exciting from within a cozy house. We enjoyed staying in a house where you could feel somebody's presence, rather than the "accessorized" vacation homes with welcoming signs from the Dollar store etc. Only thing lacking--place needs a new key box because the existing one is hard enough to use that it feels like it won't work. Gorgeous place!”

“This is a small backyard apartment a block away from downtown Wiscasset. The house met our needs. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was small but with enough equipment to prepare simple meals. The house was in walking distance of shops and restaurants in Wiscasset. There was a grill and patio for those who wanted to cook outside. The was a washer and dryer available. ”

“This was a beautiful place to stay and had more parking than we expected. The only hiccups we had was that the check in code we were given was one digit off from what it actually was so we had a little trouble getting into the house. Also there is an outlet that was uncovered in the bedroom and we had a child touch it. “Property was recently constructed and was an exceptional floor-plan. All new appliances and beautiful walk in shower in the master BR. The property was clean and the property mgr was exceptional in corresponding to my questions. Very close to downtown Boothbay Harbor and the shops and restaurants. We had our sm-mid size dog on the trip with us. The property mgr does want to know the size of dog before you come as they don't allow large dogs. Or that's the impression I got. Will want to come……

“We had a fantastic stay at Bowhaven cabin! It was extremely clean—truly spotless—and clearly very well cared for. Kez and Kyle are wonderful hosts: super communicative, welcoming, and thoughtful from start to finish. You can tell they take great pride in the property. The setting is peaceful and cozy, and everything we needed was right there. I’m already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!”

“Our party of 8 enjoyed our stay. The house is well equipped and stocked to get you started. Conveniently located to town and the Botanical Gardens. Plenty of outside space for kids to run around and play. It has a beautiful view of the cove but is very rocky. This didn't stop us from hunting hermit crabs and catching fish. The house is old but that gives it the Maine charm. ”
