“Very clean! Summer time would be better so we could sit outside and enjoy the sound of the river that's right outside the back door. There was some garbage behind the shed that didn't look good but with the weather being cold we didn't spend time outside except to walk and let our dog go potty. Other than that, it was cozy and a nice stay!”

“Pretty bummed that we did not get any response from the host when requesting the access to the place on the day of check in. They eventually responded after multiple emails on day 2. We had to find accommodations to cover the first night and there was no offer for compensation. The internet wasn't working and the water was shut off on the 3rd day. My employees live out of their suitcases and count on lodging to be a seamless process. This was not that. Would not recommend for these reasons.”

“Funky and very rural setting outside of your typical redneck / hippie Oregon town. Lots of big trucks & trailers — and three bookstores and several good restaurants in the cute historic downtown of Cottage Grove. The yurt was very comfortable, just keep in mind you are in a farm. ”

“There were indications that the “kitchenette” at least appeared to have a counter- top toaster oven and a bbq was available on patio. Neither was available. The location is remote requiring guest to travel into town for all meals”

“We could not have been more thrilled with our stay. John and Star were more welcoming than we've experienced at any other rental property. The rental site is gorgeous! It was so comforting to look around and feel like we were so far from any town, when in actuality, we were so close to Eugene. Many of us are in the architecture / interior design / engineering fields, and therefore tend to be a bit hypercritical of our built surroundings. We were impressed with the entire property. It's……
