“The house was more than enough for two travelers. Very comfortable and quiet - I couldn’t hear my friend when she was in her room or other parts of the house. Some reviews mention freeway noise, and you can hear it, but it’s more like white noise and didn’t bother us at all. Location is close to everything. With access to the 101 it was an easy trip both North and South - and we explored both.We used a laptop for Netflix and Prime. The cord to hook up to the TV was already there.Plenty of room……

“My husband and I stayed in the property for three nights. We traveled with my parents and adult brother. There was plenty of space for us all. It’s in a small kind of eclectic community about 10 or so minutes to downtown Eureka. There is a small diner just a few blocks away for breakfast and lunch. The drive to town was really easy. We enjoyed waking up to the water canal views from the deck each morning and just being a couple minutes walk to trails to a beach. The bedroom decor and dining……

“The accommodations were very nice. Perfect for my daughter and I.Could use a couple mirrors in the bedrooms as it was difficult for two women to get ready in the morning with just bathroom mirror. Would stay again”

“We come here about twice a year for a week enjoying the redwoods, the rural ambiance, and the historic town center. A trip to Headwaters Forest, one or two trips to the Humboldt National Wildlife Refuge, out the Petrolia Road, out to the beach, shopping in Old Town Eureka, a visit to the Arcata Farmers Market--what's not to love? Sharon and Sylvia are thoughtful hosts and this is truly a unique property.”
