Sleeps 8 with 4 Bedrooms and 2 Full Bathrooms:
- **Master KING Bedroom:** Located on the lower floor, featuring a luxurious king bed for the ultimate in comfort.

- **Loft:** Accessible by ladder, this cozy space features a queen bed and is perfect for a unique, adventurous sleeping experience.

Important Notes:

ACCESSIBILITY: Please be aware that climbing stairs is required to enter the cabin. The mobility-impaired will need assistance as the gently sloped 4 inch landscaped steps DO NOT have a hand rail. The MAIN LEVEL is up a 2nd flight of stairs.

DRIVEWAY: Road Access to privacy is never right off a highway exit! The last half mile to the cabin is a winding gravel country lane through the woods. You'll have to drive slowly & look out for deer/turtles/etc crossing at any time. Suitable for all vehicles except low riders.

Wonderful house on a beautiful site Many stairs which may be problematic for some. The roads entering and leaving the property can be challenging. The house is very good for entertaining families with many opportunities to enjoy the river and mountains.

Beautiful, private, peaceful getaway for the family! We enjoyed many nearby attractions and activities, as well as just relaxing in the river or around the fire. The host did a great job making us feel like it was our home away from home. Would love to return again in the future!

We had the best girls weekend at this cabin! It was nice to get away and “disconnect”. Definitely recommend staying here! For future guests highly advise using GPS coordinates and Apple Maps if using an iPhone!

The cabin was well equipped with everything you need, even a gold pan! Very clean and well furnished with cozy& luxurious touches. The towels smelled amazing!! The hot tub felt refreshing after a day tubing on the river and we enjoyed our coffee on the porch every morning, listening to all the sounds of nature. Our host was very responsive to any questions we had and we hope to visit again sometime. There’s so much to see in this area- vineyards, waterfalls, beautiful mountain drives, and more.

Nature lover's dream

This was a very secluded property but the gravel road was not bad at all. We saw a deer and her fawn cross the river, also a black bear crossing as well. The river otters and their little ones were a delight to watch every morning. The river view is beautiful. We enjoyed playing around in the river in front of the cabin on the small kayak we brought with us. Lots of deck space to relax on. The gravel road was great for morning walks. One of the cleanest properties we've stayed at. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Family girls trip

We had a great first ever family girls trip! Cabin was great, lots of games provided, great space outside for everyone to sit together and enjoy each others company! Fire pit by the water was wonderful! Hot tub was soo nice after a long day of hiking! The road to get to house was very bumpy and when leaving you have to do as the sign says and get up quick or you can slide backward like I did once! So 4x4 car would be better to have had! Lots of stairs to carry luggage up but it’s a great work out haha! Host very responsive and very quick with any questions!! Will def come again!

Peaceful Family Getaway

The home was beautiful and in a peaceful location. We had a great time and enjoyed hiking, fishing, and time together. We had the unexpected power outage(12 hrs+). I would suggest having a separate note about what to do if power is out (regarding water/toilet use). I would also suggest more description regarding the gravel road including the steep incline, so that drivers are prepared.

Wonderful stay

The cabin was very clean and full of personal touches. We had a great time tubing on the river and making s’mores in the outdoor fireplace. It was lovely and relaxing, and we would definitely come here again.

Wonderful, secluded paradise

This home was exactly as described on VRBO! Home smelled so clean when we got there. Everything was perfect and more than enough stocked in the home. We all enjoyed the view of the river and the outdoor fireplace. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing vacation.

Friend Getaway

This was absolutely one of the best getaways. Mr Dave happen to be at the house when we arrived. He was extremely helpful and his detailed books of near by attractions and restaurants was the best. A perfect wedding getaway!!

This was an absolutely incredible cabin! We spent 6 days for our wedding getaway. The location is a nice distance from venues and Helen. The road to get there is a little rocky but worth the trek and is only a short distance. The surrounding river and forest is just stunning, and we even were visited by a family of deer while enjoying the hot tub. Everything in the cabin was clearly labeled and very well stocked. Our host provided directions for a really cool trail that was a locals only spot and it was worth the trip! We can't wait to come back! Fall was a beautiful time to visit and the colors were amazing!

Beautiful Cabin in the Woods!

This property was great for our extended family of 10. The views are amazing, and the cabin was stocked with everything we needed. The road to the cabin is quite the adventure but well worth it for the amazing river views you get! Very close to town and multiple wineries. We loved our stay in this Cabin. Perfect Getaway

After searching through VRBO cabins in Dahlonega my friends and I selected Dave’s Waterside Cabin for our getaway trip to celebrate my birthday. Dave was the perfect host from beginning to end. Leading up to our actual stay Dave quickly replied to my multiple emails that included many questions. Not only was he helpful with inquiries about the cabin and surrounding area, Dave gave me advise about my travel plans after my stay. During my stay Dave contacted me to make sure all was well. We were extremely pleased when we arrived at the cabin. It was immaculate! The property inside and outside is exactly as portrayed on the VRBO site. There were four in my group but the cabin could easily accommodate more than that with the separate bedrooms, living spaces and outdoor decks/seating. The cabin is well stocked with cooking supplies, and bed and bath suppliers. We enjoyed taking scenic drives from the cabin to hiking areas with waterfalls that Dave recommended. We also enjoyed a few more scenic drives to the local wineries. The town of Dahlonega is charming. We had two dinners in town which did not disappoint - also recommendations from Dave. A highlight for us was building a fire and sitting around the fire pit each night. In the morning we saw small deer on the hillside, and one of us even spotted a beaver in the river. If you are considering a stay, go ahead and book your trip you will be happy with your choice.

Beautiful and relaxing

We were beyond excites to stay at Waterside Cabin while in the area for my daughter’s wedding! Not only was the house beautiful, the views were amazing. Beautiful home

Beautiful home and property. Walked into a very clean and organized home. The owner was friendly and very knowledgeable about local spots to visit. Even though we didn’t go do anything we had a blast just hanging out at the property enjoying the very large fireplace connected to the deck overlooking the river. Did a little fishing. Liked around the property. The home was completely furnished with perfect amount of games for adults and kids, fishing poles, linens, and towels everything was just right you did not need anything. The hot tub was fantastic very large clean. Everyone was very happy with the place we picked. Dave the property is a super nice guy and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. So thank you so much day for sharing your home with us. We will definitely be back.

Truly...A Hidden Gem!

My family and I were looking for a relaxing getaway, and we found just that and so much more at Dave's home away from home! From the moment we hit Dave's "actual" driveway our windows went down....you will see all of the beautiful Mountain Laurel, you will immediately want to feel the coolness in the air, and the smell of the clean woods. Nature here is amazing...we saw so many deer, squirrels, birds, a rooster, and an owl...just to name a few. The soothing sound of the river's water and the katydids at night completely soothed my soul, I truly could have stayed there forever. Dave's attention to every detail is amazing; from the array of spices in the cabinet, the sugar, the coffee creamer, the coffee, the decaf coffee, the tea bags, the hot chocolate, the "feel good" dishes, the baking pans, the exact amount of toilet paper needed, along with the exact amount of dishwasher detergent to be used, laundry detergent/softner, dryer sheets, garbage bags....fishing poles/lures, (lanterns/candles/emergency water)....oh and hot tub towels....he literally has thought of everything! Dave is amazing with communication; ask a question and within seconds to a few minutes you will receive a response back. Things to do...first and foremost RELAX! Fish (we caught catfish, small mouth bass, striper...), explore the land, pan for Gold, put up your hammocks near the river, smores at night, star gaze, enjoy the hot tub, tube the river, go on an awesome mine adventure...RELAX...UNWIND...
