The staff made us feel as though we were a nuisance instead of being hospitable and treating us like guests. Breakfast ended at 10am and at 9:15am We were told breakfast was closing at 9:30am. Once we got our breakfast, there was no where to sit as many tables were not bussed and the busded ones were full of crumbs and sticky. We asked an employee if they could please wipe a table down so that we may sit down to eat, and she turned and walked away from us. We then had to go ask the host that was by the entrance of the breakfast area if we could get a table wiped down for us to sit and eat. We asked the bartender for a spoon for my children to eat their ice cream at night and his response was so short and rude, “front desk.” As he proceeded to point for us to go to the front desk. We asked the bartender for a Shirley temple for my son and he wanted to mark that off as one of the 2 alcoholic beverages we were permitted during happy hour. We have been staying at Embassy Suites for almost 30 years as this chain is know for its hospitality, cleanliness, breakfast, happy hour and indoor pool. It has all the perks for traveling family, and we have NEVER been treated with such low regard. The bar tender told my husband, “you can go over there and pour your own soda,” as he pointed towards the soda machine. I also asked another breakfast staff member for the breakfast closing time and his response was, “ I wish we could close already.” Absolutely horrible experience
