I’m writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay at your hotel due to two major issues: excessive noise and poor handling of a stored item.
My son and I were assigned a room near the outdoor unit of the central air conditioning system. The noise was so loud I couldn’t sleep at all. I reported this to the front desk, but was told there were no quieter rooms and asked to return at 2 p.m. the next day. That night, I had to sleep on the sofa, away from the window, and could barely rest. The following day, no room was arranged. On the third day, I was moved to a room facing a highway—still very noisy. Throughout my stay, I noticed guests checking out daily, so I felt my request wasn’t taken seriously.
More concerning was the loss of my backpack, which I had stored at the front desk. When I inquired, I was told the manager had to be present to check the CCTV, which meant waiting until the next day. I had to explain the issue again to a new receptionist, and after checking footage, the manager said there were no clues and offered compensation. The next morning, I was told the bag had been found. While I was relieved, this should never have happened and disrupted my whole day.
This experience fell far short of expectations. I hope your team will address these issues to prevent them from happening again.
