While the hotel itself was absolutely beautiful—the room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, breakfast was lovely, and the front desk staff at check-in were an absolute delight, going out of their way to accommodate my special requests—my stay was unfortunately disrupted by a recurring issue.
For three nights in a row, another guest repeatedly drove around the property throughout the night, parking directly in front of my room’s window, playing loud music, and leaving his car idling with a modified muffler.
Each time I reported it, the night staff responded and informed the guest, asking him to stop. However, the behavior continued—often resuming within an hour or two.
I was woken up multiple times—at 11 p.m., 2 a.m., 3 a.m., 4 a.m., 7 a.m.—by the noise and vibrations. It became so disruptive that I eventually called the sheriff’s office myself in hopes of resolving it.
Unfortunately, this repeated disturbance ruined what could have been a wonderful stay. I’m sure I wasn’t the only guest affected, but it was especially difficult having the car parked directly in front of my window each night.
I understand these situations can be challenging, but I do hope the management finds a more effective way to handle such incidents in the future—for the comfort and rest of all guests.
