This is BY FAR the worst hotel experience that I’ve ever had. Let me first start by saying that I’m a frequent traveler, have stayed in 4 different IHG hotels in 4 different states this last month & this does NOT meet the standard of an IHG facility. The staff was disorganized, didn’t know how to check me in, I was locked out of my room the second day of my stay because they wrote my card number down wrong on a piece of paper & didn’t charge the card. I got called down 2-3 different times because they kept making “mistakes” with my reservation.
When I arrived, multiple things were broken and DIRTY. Hair all in my bed, BBQ sauce or sone type of sticky brown sauce on counters and curtains, sofa bed was broken and disfunctional, ironing board broken, 2 light switches didn’t work, bathroom counter had some sticky substances on it. I called multiple time for room service, “phones were down” according to lady I spoke with the next morning.
I took pictures & requested new sheets since ours were obviously from the last visitor, we were told by 4 different people that they would come and replace them. Friday - Monday they never touched them!!! We got back and the counters were still dirty, same sheets, nothing replaced or fixed, we had to get extra towels from the front desk and clean ourselves.
Sad part?? As much as we complained & informed them of what was going on, all they kept saying was “we understand ma’am, we’ll fix it” and NEVER DID A THING.
