“Excellent stay- wonderful indoor pool and outdoor hot tub. Next week I’m sure the huge outdoor pool and kiddie pool will be open. Also great kids playground, basketball court, volleyball and gym. No breakfast or food available but you have a fridge and ability to cook. Coffee maker in the room. Highly recommend ”

“Last minute find. Room was tidy/no odors. The kitchen was complete and cute wood art made the place feel cozy. The spare roll away bed was delivered as requested, and surprisingly comfortable. Traveled with hubby and 9 year old between seasons to hit Bash Bish. Will stay here again to visit Naumkeag.”

“Wrote to them asking for early check in around 1pm for 3pm check in, no reply. Not a problem, early check in isn’t a guarantee. Get to the property 10 mins before check in and no one is there, wait around for 30 mins, no one there, no one answering in the app, no one picking up the phone. By 340 called Vrbo who canceled my reservation around 4pm the property called asked if I left, I said I did and booked somewhere else, no apology, no reasoning, just “ok” and hung up. “It's a really lovely home on a beautiful property, with all the amenities we could have possibly needed, and also perfectly peaceful. The host was so welcoming and responsive, which made it that much nicer, too. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer, and I would definitely want to stay there again. ”

This dwelling did not quite live up to that standard, but was clean, sans the “mud room” and what appeared to be mold on the peak of the ceiling above the living room. The original listing stated firewood was provided by the host. Then, the checkin instructions stated guests provided their own. Not huge, just misstated in the listing (since changed). “Lucas's property on Lake Laurel in Lennox was perfect for our familty getaway in the Berkshires. The house layout (4 bedrooms with two on the first floor and two on the second) really suited our needs as we had two adult couples and an infant. It was stocked extremely well which enhanced our visit and experience. The property is situated right off Lake Laurel in a very quiet neighborhood but less than a 10 minute drive to downtown Lennox which has numerous dining and shopping opportunities. ……
