“We stayed in the Avantgard apartment and while the location was great; right in the centre of the old town, within walking distance to many cafes, restaurants and shops, the apartment did have a few issues. It faces the main road so it was quite noisy throughout the night. The apartment itself is also very creaky, especially the loft where the bed is. The kitchen has a stove and microwave, but not much in the way of pots/pans or crockery so it's not great for cooking your own meals. The……

“On arrival the restaurant was closed and upon asking the receptionist o was told there is no restaurant near by . The room was never cleaned and dirty towel was put back on the rail. Room was noisy at tines with main villa door being shut and people coming in and out also dog being left in next door room. The restaurant staff didn’t speak English. “Sinaia is a magical town and this hotel is excellent. They gave me an early check-in so I can drop my luggage. Quite. The air is refreshing. Close to the train station. Amenities like jacuzzi, swimming pool, gym, sauna, steam room are all well-kept and in good condition.
