“The stay was pleasant! Only major problem is with the washroom. Only 2 washrooms shared with 40+ people. That is very unreasonable. Everything else was perfect ”

“Based on the picture that is given online, it is a little deceptive as the room was a lot smaller than expected. In saying that, one has to remember that the older properties in Amsterdam are very narrow, to cram in many rooms, then the rooms are not going to be that large. “Beautifully renovated historic building with beautiful garden and a top-notch restaurant. The new lift is especially good, saving us the effort to wrestle luggages up the steep stairs typically of older Dutch buildings. Quiet surroundings at the historic city center. "Overall, I had a great stay. The design of the hotel was stylish and thoughtfully curated—modern, with a sophisticated color palette that I really loved. The only downside was the noise from the room above. Every late night and early morning, I could clearly hear footsteps overhead, and even the ceiling light fixture in my room would rattle with a metallic or glass-clinking sound. It was quite unsettling and affected my rest. If the sound insulation between floors could be improved, it would make the experience so much better. That said, the aesthetic of the space was beautiful, and I truly appreciated the hotel’s unique and elevated design. "
