“In general we enjoyed our stay but there were a few issues that keep it from getting five stars: 1) Lighting needs improvement. It's quite dim, especially in the living area, bathroom, and kitchen. There are under-cabinet lights in the kitchen but they seem to have a mind of their own and we couldn't find a way to have them stay on. “We were in Cooperstown for my son's little league tourney. Decided to stay here about 25 mins out of town instead of the Holiday Inn Express with the rest of the families. Enjoyed the drive and the view of the lake and also being able to have a full size fridge and washer and dryer. Also, had 2 bedrooms. Our 25-yr old daughter came up for a couple of days, so didn;t have to get an extra hotel room. Great host. Super friendly.”

“We really enjoyed staying at the apartment. Everything was clean, comfortable, and easily accessible. Coffee, creamer, sugar, and bottled water were a nice surprise. “There were some great things and not so great things with this rental. For the pros: the apartment was beautiful and very clean. The property was quiet and serene. And we enjoyed the hot tub many times. For the cons: it was not disclosed in the listing that the owner lived below the apartment. It was not a problem but it would have been nice to know that prior to renting. It may have changed our decision. The owner does not have self check in and needed to meet us to let us in.
