“Great place, perfect if youre going to the amphitheater and may have a couple drinks, because the walk there and back is not bad at all. Only thing was we were wondering what the earplugs were for, and being so close to the ocean, the seagulls were obviously what they were for. All jokes aside, I highly recommend. “I chose this apartment for its location primarily and it was a hit. Since we were traveling and staying for two weeks with a toddler and a new baby I was looking for it to also have an outdoor space, and it was wonderful as seen in the pictures. For personal reasons I had to change my dates a few days before my booking was coming up, the hosts had no problem to accommodate my needs. “My husband, son and I stayed there for a lacrosse tournament at Stony Brook. The apt. was very clean and perfect for 2-3 people. The AC is run by the main house and when it got a little warm the first day I reached out to Stu and he and his wife quickly lowered the temp for us and it was perfect. Cute neighborhood-we visited Stony Brook village, Port Jeff and Sunken Meadow Park in our off time. Last year we stayed in Patchogue which was nice but we enjoyed the North Shore this year. “Yes, parking on the street was new to us but we didn’t have any problems finding spots. Because the restaurants are within walking distance we didn’t cook at all. Walked to the bodega for a few staple items, snacks, milk, etc.Unique neighborhood vibe and really enjoyed ourselves. ”

“I had such a great time in Stamford! Very lovely town and a very lovely property. It is a 15 minute walk to downtown so I’d recommend loaning a car or using rideshare services. The unit also has quite low ceilings, so it does feel a bit cramped if you’re over 6 foot.Overall, a very great unit and communicative hosts.”
