“Very clean hotel room - would definitely recommend ”

“We very much enjoyed our stay at shining waters country inn. Its close to all of the cavendish attractions. But i suggest you come between june and august as most of the stuff beaides the anne of green gables house is closed. The jacuzzi tub was great though and it a charming little inn.”

“Staff were extremely friendly when we checked in and explained the amenities of the motel. The room was spacious, with a beautiful king sized bed. It had a large tub which was nice after a long day of travel. Breakfast was delicious with a nice variety. Excellent coffee, and bread pudding!”

“The cabins here are top notch! Impeccable cleanliness throughout. So much thoughtfulness from the cheerful and hard working owners put into the furniture, dishes, towels, cooking utinsels, new bbq, and coffee maker. We found ourselves looking for a fly swatter for a spider, cabin had one. Bbq spatula, had one. Beach towels...had them. Paper towels, whole roll. Anything we needed (and didnt think we needed) was on site. Actual comfy beds, and heating/cooling all provided. Kids park on site.……

“After our 2 weeks in Nova Scotia and PEI, we needed a jump off point to make our 11 hour drive back to Boston. Carleton is a couple of miles from the bridge to the mainland, so a convenient place to overnight prior to heading home. Not may restaurants close by, tho a breakfast cafe at the hotel for the morning. good acomodation for our purposes. ”

“Place was very quaint. It was the perfect size for our family of three and extremely well equipped right down to the lobster tools. We will stay again with family in the summer.”
