“The neighborhood was great. We really enjoyed our stay. Everything recommended was fun to do. The only thing that we would have changed , we wish we had more time to stay and do more things in the area. Within an hour of the house there is probably a months worth of things to see and do. And to try all the food around is impossible. ”

“We had a large group of men stay for our annual fishing trip and we had a great stay! The house was clean…we had plenty of room for everyone, a grill for dinner and a large kitchen/sitting area. We will be back next year!”

“We came down for a family fishing trip and couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Doyle and Heidi went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable time. Grannies place was clean and comfortable for our family of 6 and the host even introduced us to a crab/shrimp boil with all the fixings. Thank you so much and we can’t wait to come back. 10 outta 10!!”

“Stayed at Shandy land with a few friends. Conditions were brutal because of the snow storm -on earth would have expected that in Port Sulphur lol. The camp was terrific, exactly as pictured and described. Wouldn’t change a thing about the place. The owner messaged while we were there to make sure everything was going smoothly. I would stay here again 100%.”

“The house is right on the water across from several large fishing boats. It was neat to see them and the pelicans. The host communicated well. My only complaint is the cleanliness of the place. The showers still had bars of soap and hair from the last guest. I had to find cleaner and clean the showers myself so we could shower. There were dirty underwear under my bed and dirty socks under another bed. As much as I paid for one night, I'd expect a clean house at least.”

“This place was clean, quiet, comfortable, and conveniently located to both the nearby town and fishing waters. I’ve stayed all over this area, and Miles’ place is definitely worth the look if you’re planning a trip in the area. ”

“Overall, the rental is fine. The dining room and living room furniture is quite uncomfortable for older retired people. The kitchen is only large enough for 1 person at a time. As far as being fully supplied, it was not. We had 4 people staying 6 nights. There was one and a half rolls of toilet paper. Lots of paper towels though. Not what we expected. We may stay again knowing we need to provide more of our own supplies. It would be helpful if all of the bedrooms had rods for hanging clothes.……
